Campaign for Accountability seeks an undergraduate college student to serve as an unpaid intern during the summer of 2018. CfA's interns are responsible for developing and distributing the organization's core legal work.

·      Research responsibilities include investigating public officials, tracking legislation and federal regulations, monitoring campaign contributions and state budgets, studying the influence of special interests, and drafting reports.

·      Communications responsibilities include managing CfA's social media feeds, monitoring media coverage, building distribution lists, drafting press releases, and writing media pitches.

·      The ideal candidate is self-starting, hardworking, and possesses excellent written and analytical skills.


About Campaign for Accountability


Campaign for Accountability is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, nonpartisan watchdog organization that uses research, litigation and aggressive communications to expose misconduct and malfeasance in public life. CfA works on behalf of the public interest to expose corruption, negligence, and unethical behavior wherever it may occur. We investigate the actions of powerful interests at every level of society, ranging from the largest corporations to the smallest county governments. Our current priorities include federal accountability, state oversight, corporate responsibility, consumer protection and reproductive rights.

This position is based in Washington, D.C., and lasts for the duration of the summer semester.
