Caucus Field Director
The North Carolina Senate Democratic Caucus (NCSDC) is seeking resumes for qualified candidates interested in serving as Field Director on a statewide legislative caucus campaign. This would be a campaign position running through Election Day 2018. The Field Director will report to the caucus Executive Director and work closely with candidates, managers, caucus staff, and members.
Responsibilities include:
· Create individual field plans for each district
· Work closely with campaigns to implement field program
· Work with and engage partner groups including coordinated campaign
· VAN management and administration
· Training on volunteer recruitment, persuasion scripts, candidate motivation
· Work with campaigns to implement field program
· Any other campaign related tasks, as needed.
The Legislative Caucus Field Director should expect a demanding work schedule and be available long hours, seven days a week through Election Day.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must be highly organized, highly motivated and capable of working through a demanding work environment.
Additionally, candidates must have:
· At least two campaign cycles of field experience;
· At least one campaign cycle managing staff;
· Experience managing some aspect of a GOTV operation;
· Experience with VAN/VoteBuilder;
· Extensive experience with Excel;
· Access to a car and available to drive for work
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes health and dental insurance.
