Now hiring a Field Director for a competitive Western Pennsylvania State Senate general election campaign team.
The Field Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive field and GOTV plan, as well as recruiting, training, and managing volunteers. The Field Director will manage and execute daily voter contact events such as canvasses and phone banks, as well as being responsible for data management. The Field Director should be strong communicator, organized, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to work long and irregular hours, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
* Write and implement a comprehensive, data driven field plan
* Build and manage a field leadership team to execute said field plan
* Set, meet, and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV
* Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
* Manage and execute daily voter contact events such as canvasses and phone and text banks
* Communicate and coordinate with other campaigns to maximize field efforts
Qualifications:
* At least 2 cycles of campaign field experience
* Exceptional organization skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
* Ability to multitask and identify shifting priorities quickly
* Experience managing and training volunteers and/or interns
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to be flexible and improvise while remaining professional and productive
* Excellent time management skills
* Daily management of accurate data entry (VAN experience preferred)
* Ability to meet daily and weekly volunteer recruitment benchmarks and goals
* Experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Office required
