The Application Support and QA Manager will assist in performing the following complex professional tasks under the supervision of the Director, IT Project Management & Applications. The key role of the Application Support and QA Manager is to ensure that all applications and database software meet the highest level of integrity and reliability which includes software testing and user support. Responsibilities include following industry best practices and guidelines, interacting with staff and systems to troubleshoot software issues, understanding and retaining application functions and business rules, and using strong organizational/analytical/computer skills to resolve problems.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in computer science or equivalent from four-year college or university in a technical field and one to two years data base experience; or two to three years related database administration and development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must have minimum two years of hands-on experience with the following software: MS SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 20xx, Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity of ASP/VB.NET and/or Aptify a plus.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills required
· 2 years' experience in a quality assurance or development role
· Understand software engineering and web development
· Excellent organizational skills
