About the DCCC: 


The DCCC is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC's Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working campaign professionals who are committed protecting our House majority and electing more Democrats.


Position Summary: 


The DCCC is seeking an IT Support Technician for Tier 1 end-user support.


Responsibilities Include: 

  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with hardware and software with minimum end-user disruption;
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software to meet end-user requirements;
  • Tracking hardware and software and maintaining a current and up-to-date inventory;
  • Training staff on how to use provided hardware and software, while promoting best practices for information security; and
  • Onboarding new staff by setting up their workstations and providing them assistance and guidance.

Requirements


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Two years of desktop support and/or help desk work experience;
  • Working knowledge of patch management tools and Microsoft systems and products;
  • Customer service-oriented;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to troubleshoot and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; and
  • MCP, MSDST, A+ preferred.
