The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC's Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working campaign professionals who are committed to electing more Democrats and protecting the House majority.


Position Summary: The Finance Operations Director is responsible for assisting the Finance Directors with the day to day office administration as well as coordination between Finance and Administration regarding donor contributions, scheduling and event planning.  The Finance Operations Director will also act as a liaison to the Leader's Office and the Chair's Office.

Responsibilities Include:

•         Events:

o    Work with National Finance Director and Events Director to oversee and manage all fundraising events including developing processes to track RSVPs, manage payments, and coordinate Regional efforts.

o    Work with Events Director to develop and oversee the budget for fundraising events. 

o    Interface with the Speaker's and the Chairwoman's staff on event details and scheduling needs. 

o    Develop and oversee the Finance Department's event technology including websites and tracking.

o    Work with Finance Operations and Events Assistant to manage the approval and creation of invitations for events.

•         Compliance/Accounting:

o    Manage and work with the Finance Operations and Events Assistant to 

?  Track all incoming money to the Finance Department

?  Create and manage tracking in NGP through source codes, contact codes, etc. 

?  Monitor vetting status of all hosts and contributors to the DCCC

o    Assist the Compliance and Accounting departments with all required FEC reporting

o    Oversee and manage the Finance team's use of NGP and Quickbase for tracking in coordination with the DCCC Database Administrator

o    Work with the Battleground Fundraising team to track and report conduit checks, in-kinds to Members and Candidates

o    Help administer and manage Joint Fundraising Committees in coordination with the Finance team. 

•         Other tasks as needed


Requirements


Qualifications and Requirements:

•                     Candidate must pay particular attention to detail;

•                     Ability to multi-task and prioritize while managing multiple projects at once;

•                     Excellent communications skills

•                     NGP experience preferred;

•                     Ability to work well with multiple personalities;

•                     Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives;

•                     Familiarity with Democratic political actors and landscape a plus;

•                     Previous scheduling and administrative experience required;

•                     Bachelor's Degree;

•                     Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;

•                     Excellent interpersonal skills;

•                     Superior time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities;
