Finance Director - Targeted House of Delegates race in Northern Virginia
Reports to: Campaign Manager
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Finalizing the campaign budget and ensuring the finance plan is adhered to
- Oversee finance interns and staff
- Prep and manage candidate call time
- Produce regular reports for candidate and staff
- Prepare and file campaign finance reports
- Plan and write compelling fundraising emails
- Identify new donor prospects and cultivate current supporters
- Plan and oversee all fundraising events
- Prepare thank you letters, event invitations, and other direct mail fundraising initiatives
- Spearheading all other forms of fundraising
- Other duties as needed
Job requirements:
- At least one cycle of campaign fundraising experience, as a finance assistant or higher level
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to cultivate and maintain donor relationship
- Willingness to work long and irregular hours
- Strong familiarity with NGP 7 and ActBlue
- Self-starter and team player
Salary is commensurate with experience and supporter housing is available if needed.
