POSITION: Media Monitor & Video Researcher

LOCATION: Washington, DC

American Bridge 21^st Century, a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions, is hiring a Video Researcher to join the Media Monitoring team.

The Media Monitoring team focuses on monitoring and compiling videos of key Republican targets' words and actions. The Media Monitoring team works closely with all departments in augmenting existing research and looking for creative ways to use the footage we've gathered. Ideally, all candidates should have a passion for politics, curiosity for research, and ability to creatively think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

· Write daily bullets on a set list of candidates;

· Work with the Video Production and Communications teams to create content;

· Monitor real-time interviews and news coverage;

· Assist with long-term research dives;

· Other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Ability to work under tight time constraints;

· Self-motivation and proven ability to work independently;

· Comfortable working after hours and on weekends;

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience with media monitoring software;

· Some video editing experience.
