SumOfUs is hiring for an experienced digital campaigner! We are looking for someone to join our team in the United States and help advance our mission to hold corporations accountable. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 32 hours per week, and can be undertaken by anyone in a timezone between GMT -5 and GMT -8.
Campaigners are integral members of our team. In this position, you will help to develop and win campaigns that stop big corporations from behaving badly. You will write emails that engage and empower our members across the US to take action and fight back. You will help to raise needed funds to deepen and grow our work and that enable us to make real-world change. We deeply value our partners and you'll also help to develop collaborative, impactful partnerships.
The ideal candidate has two to four years of strategic campaigning experience, with at least two years in a "digital first" or rapid response environment. If you are passionate about mobilizing people to challenge some of the world's largest corporations, then this is the role for you.
Who we are
SumOfUs is a community of people from around the world committed to curbing the growing power of corporations. We want to buy from, work for, and invest in companies that respect the environment, treat their workers well, and respect democracy. And we're not afraid to challenge them when they don't.
In an age of multinational companies that are bigger and richer than some countries, it can be easy to feel powerless. But there is a gap in their defenses. The biggest corporations in the world rely on ordinary people to keep them in business. We are their customers, their employees, and often their investors. When we act together, we can be more powerful than they are. Together, our community of millions act as a global consumer watchdog – running and winning campaigns to hold the biggest companies in the world accountable.
What you'll do as part of our team
