Sister District Project values a multicultural, diverse working environment. Applicants of diverse backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
The Organization
The Sister District Project works to turn states blue by winning state legislative elections. We have a strategic, targeted focus on critical down-ballot, state races that—if we win—will help us fight back against partisan gerrymandering, and expand progressive policies. We do this by "sistering" our volunteer teams with candidates who receive field and fundraising support. Each year, we support a portfolio of races, with the strategic goals of (1) flipping Republican-held state chambers (2) holding fragile Democratic majorities in state chambers, and (3) making blue inroads in badly gerrymandered states. In 2019 and 2020, we have a laser focus on states
