Position Summary:
Leadership for Educational Equity seeks an administrator to act as a staff liaison and expert on LEE's personnel policies, compensation, and benefits. Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent, this administrator will maintain accurate personnel data, liaise with employees on all personnel-related questions, lead administrative onboarding and offboarding, and create and maintain systems for storing employee information and data reporting. The Talent Generalist will also act as an important liaison with facilities partners to ensure employees have the necessary space and resources to excel in their jobs. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience as a human resources generalist and bring a proactive and customer-service oriented approach to their work.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, and project management skills. The ideal candidate enjoys and thrives at handling logistical details and creating and improving systems. As a staff and partner liaison, the Talent Generalist must have strong written and verbal communication skills and will need to successfully build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including other staff at LEE, Teach For America staff, and other partner organizations. The Manager needs to exercise strong judgment in handling confidential information and troubleshooting problems as well as an orientation toward balancing staff support with increasing organizational impact.

Responsibilities:
Talent Administration (50%)
- Acts as a staff liaison and first point of contact for all individual employee questions, including those around employee status, policies, and compensation and benefits
- Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures
- Disseminates timely benefit and employment policy information to staff and tracks receipt for compliance purposes
- Lends capacity to the Director, Talent Administration as needed, to complete the timely collection and approval of timecards, payroll processing, and reporting
Staff Onboarding and Offboarding (25%)
- Leads administrative onboarding practices in ADP, including payroll and benefits set-up as well as employment verification
- Liaise with regional office contacts and technology departments and vendors to ensure that employees have what they need
- Manages the full range of administrative off-boarding and exit activities for departing employees at LEE, including collecting technology and shutting down accounts
Facilities, TLC Operations, and Knowledge Management (25%)
- Maintains accurate seat-count and reconciles desk usage against partner resource sharing agreement for all offices
- Acts as a liaison to partner facilities management teams to ensure LEE staff have appropriate space and resources to effectively do their work
- Supports Technology team in maintaining accurate staff directory, including up-to-date new hires and exits
- Designs and executes a plan to manage personnel data; conducts regular audits, compiles, and distributes regular data reports to teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional experience
- 2 years of experience in a human resources generalist role or similar
- Exemplary organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service orientation
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, results-oriented environment
- Demonstrated success managing a project from design through execution, monitoring progress, and reporting on outcomes
- Proficiency in ADP WorkForceNow, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
- Strong, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion
- Deep passion for educational equity and belief in LEE's mission and theory of change
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM Certified Professional, PHR Certification, or a degree in human resources management
- Bachelor's degree

Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included.
