Democratic campaign for citywide office in Baltimore is seeking a Campaign Manager. At least 1-2 cycles of campaign management preferred, both field and fundraising experience highly desired.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Execute the campaign's strategy; including, budget, fundraising, communications and voter contact.  

·        Regularly update and monitor the budget, finance projections and cashflow. Brief candidate daily on the state of the campaign.

·        Track contributions and expenditures in NGP database and work with treasurer on all financial filings. 

·        Direct team of consultants, manage weekly calls and ensure follow through on deliverables.

·        Oversee the day-to-day operations of the campaign and manage additional staff or volunteers through daily check-ins, meetings, and conference calls.

·        Work in tandem with Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely data-entry in NGP, follow up emails/letters and thank you notes. Schedule and attend meetings with donors. Plan and execute fundraising events. 

·        Execute Field Plan and recruit, train and deploy volunteers.

·        Create and administer digital and social media strategy.

·        Draft press releases and serve as campaign spokesperson as needed.

·        Write speeches and staff candidate at meetings and events. 

·        Establish and reinforce a winning campaign culture that aligns with the candidate's vision for a better Baltimore.

 

 Qualifications (You might be a good fit if):

·        You have a minimum of 3-5 years of political campaign experience;

·        You have excellent organizational skills and are detail-oriented;

·        You have an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;

·        You have experience managing and motivating staff;

·        You are familiar with VAN and NGP and have a commitment to data integrity;

·        You have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;

·        You are flexible and able to work long and irregular hours;

·        You have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation;

·        You are committed to creating a campaign culture of respect, integrity, and inclusiveness.
