[jobsthatareLEFT by GAIN] Analyst Institute - Partnerships & Community Engagement Team jobs and more

We are hiring for multiple positions across the Analyst Institute team, and we invite you and those in your networks to apply. At Analyst Institute, we see every day that the diversity of our team — in background, identity, thought, and experience — is one of our greatest strengths. We're an equal opportunity employer, and we strongly encourage people of color, people with disabilities, women, non-binary candidates, and LGBTQIA+ candidates to apply.

Open Positions

We are seeking a Development Director, who will be a critical part of our senior executive team, helping our organization secure the resources necessary to meet our expanded goals and vision for 2020 and beyond. This is a new, full-time position, located in our Washington, DC office. Salary is commensurate with experience, from $98,000 to $120,000. Apply here by October 25th.

We're hiring for several positions across Analyst Institute's Partnerships & Community Engagement team, which works directly with our allies to support their testing and adoption of evidence-based best practices, as well as cultivates the Analyst Group community as a space for collective learning. We seek applicants from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets, and we're looking for people at a range of experience levels-- from those who are early in their career to those that have a decade or more of electoral or advocacy experience. Salary is commensurate with experience and job responsibilities, generally ranging from $50,000-$95,000. Apply here, with submissions reviewed on a rolling basis

We're also hiring a Research Associate to join our meta-analysis team. The Research Associate will contribute to all aspects of this work, including data collection, data management, analysis, report writing, and more. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research while learning about the landscape of political data analysis and data infrastructure. Salary is commensurate with experience, from $50,000 to $55,000. Apply here by November 4th.

And there will likely be more positions opening soon!

In a recent progressive jobs survey, Analyst Institute was rated the top place respondents wanted to work, and there are lots of reasons why you may want to work here too:

  • You'll have impact, and know it. The Analyst Institute is a rigorous research institute, but we don't care for knowledge built in a vacuum. Our work bridges data analytics and the frontlines, and we combine the best of both to have real-world impact.
  • You'll play a vital role in this critical moment of organizational growth. With a decade of success under AI's belt, we've got even more ambitious plans for the future. You'll be a critical component of our success in this next chapter as we expand our scope and vision to help our allies address the challenges of tomorrow.

  • You'll learn a lot, and quickly. We've run hundreds of experiments over the last ten years, and we are always running more. You'll lead the way in sharing our collective knowledge with those who need it.

  • We're a public utility for the progressive movement. Beyond our research, we also serve as the steward of the Analyst Group, a space for engaged practitioners, researchers, and donors to share evidence with each other to help the whole progressive movement grow stronger.

  • We work with folks from across the progressive and civic engagement space. From racial justice to labor to the environment to LGBTQIA+ rights to electoral campaigns and everything in between, you'll work on lots of the progressive issues you care about.
  • Coworkers who have your back. We're a small but strong team. We're all in this for the same reason – to make progressive change – so we support each other and put our mission above our egos.

Benefits: These include 100% premium-covered health, dental, and vision care, generous paid time off and comp time for working extended hours during the heat of the cycle, 401k matching, generous parental leave, and professional development stipends for self-directed growth.
