Democratic Baltimore campaign seeking a Scheduler/Body Person with strong organizational and communication skills for short-term race. 

Responsibilities

  • Driving the candidate throughout each day to campaign events and meetings.

  • Staffing the candidates at events and meetings.

  • Assuring that all appropriate follow up from staffing is addressed or directed to the appropriate staff member or consultant.

  • Taking notes at meetings when necessary.

  • Working with the campaign manager to coordinate scheduling and event logistics.

  • Work non-traditional hours on a full time schedule, with a high degree of flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Strong dedication to Democratic politics.

  • Minimum 2 cycles of campaign, political, or other relevant experience, or experience in scheduling/logistics/event planning with a serious interest in and understanding of politics.

  • Ability to live and work in Baltimore, MD.

  • Ability to work full time campaign hours, often including nights and weekends.

The ideal candidate will possess a can-do attitude, pay high attention to detail, and be solution oriented. They will also be an independent worker, a self-starter, and demonstrate the highest level of discretion. They will also have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in a dynamic work environment.

Must have car, valid driver's license, and appropriate insurance.
