Managing Director

Justice Democrats and Organize for Justice (JD/OFJ) seeks a talented, committed leader to serve as Managing Director. The Managing Director will oversee day-to-day work within the combined organization, supporting staff at all levels and in all departments, and ensuring that our resources are properly aligned to achieve our outcomes. The right candidate will be able to drive our long-term vision while remaining grounded in daily operations, a highly competent problem solver and administrative manager, and with the professional fluency and emotional intelligence to help staff succeed in their roles. This is a dynamic and demanding role, and critically important for JD/OFJ headed into the 2020 election cycle.

Campaigns Director

Justice Democrats (JD) seeks a dynamic, experienced leader to serve as Campaigns Director. The Campaigns Director will lead intensive and integrated efforts to help our Congressional candidates win their races! This includes coordinating the recruitment and endorsement processes, managing direct technical, financial, and political support to each endorsed campaign, and supervising staff, volunteers, and contractors engaged in those efforts. The right candidate will bring a wealth of campaign experience, a clear-eyed understanding of the challenges for grassroots progressive candidates, and a passion for the mission of Justice Democrats. This is a dynamic and demanding role, and critically important for JD headed into the 2020 election cycle and beyond, as we are always looking ahead.

For both positions, the salary range is $75-80k. We provide health, vision and dental benefits plus PTO. Preference for both positions to be based in NYC or Washington DC, though we will consider applicants elsewhere in the country.
