ORGANIZING CORPS 2020 is a new organization that will recruit a diverse talent pool from college campuses, conduct organizing boot camps in key battleground states, provide paid in-field training and coaching in key states, and deploy 1,000 readied organizers to the general election in Summer 2020.
During our winter and spring program, corps members will participate in bootcamps and in-field training, learning the art and science of being a field organizer in a presidential election and exploring an exciting career in campaigns. Along the way, corps members will gain valuable skills in leadership, project management and communication, and build a powerful network of like-minded peers and mentors from across the country that will last beyond 2020. Organizing Corps 2020 launched in February 2019 and is powered by the DNC and state Democratic parties in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in partnership with 270 Strategies and The Collective.
As a Lead Corps Member Coach, you will serve at the helm of 1-2 bootcamps with 50-150 corps members each before going on to manage the training and development of 20-25 corps members on the ground and implement Organizing Corps 2020's program with fidelity.
