ADMINISTRATIVE & OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

 

Corridor Partners advises clients investing in advocacy and elections to build bipartisan support for policy change.  Corridor's current portfolio is focused on climate change and energy.  By working with teams of leading campaign experts, Corridor integrates rigorous research and evaluation in the design and execution of winning strategies.

 

The Administrative & Operations Associate is responsible for assisting the Corridor Partners team with firm administration and operations. The Associate works closely with all members of the Corridor team and reports directly to the principals of the firm. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. office.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·       Manage the day-to-day operations in the Washington, D.C. office.

·       Manage all scheduling needs for the firm principals, including extensive travel arrangements and the production of itineraries for major events.

·       Provide administrative support for the firm principals, including, but not limited to, information technology, communications systems, video-conferencing, and business-related expenses.

·       Coordinate the development of meeting agendas, briefing materials, and presentations for meetings that involve firm principals.

·       Support senior staff in the development and execution of high priority events and projects that engage Corridor Partners' clients and stakeholders.

·       Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES DESIRED

·       Excellent customer-service skills, detail-oriented, and dependable.

·       Highest standards of ethics and integrity, with a demonstrated history of working in environments that require discretion and confidentiality.

·       Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

·       Ability to work at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

·       Demonstrated experience managing calendars and travel for multiple principals.

·       Ability to manage multiple activities, events, and projects simultaneously.

·       Ability to distinguish priorities with little supervision.

·       Short and long-range planning and follow-through skills including the ability to "manage up."

·       Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

·       Proven competency with video-conferencing solutions, MS Office Suite, and G Suite.

·       Bachelor's degree and 2  4 years of relevant work experience required. 

·       Demonstrated interest in climate advocacy and/or politics is required.

·       Demonstrated experience booking travel is required.

·       Ideal candidate is able to work flexible hours and has the ability to travel.
