Competitive House District Seeks Deputy Finance Director
We are looking for an ambitious, strategic, hard working individual to join our finance team. The Deputy Finance Director position is primarily responsible for engaging with current and prospective donors to raise money through call time, events and meetings in NYC, PA, NJ and DC. This position is ideal for candidates with at least one cycle of finance experience on a campaign or at a committee.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Write and implement a regional finance plan for NYC, PA, NJ and DC
• Manage and build all regional fundraising events from start to finish
• Schedule donor and donor prospect meetings when candidate is in the region
• Coordinate with call time manager on donor calls for candidate call time
• Conduct personal donor call time and fundraising
• Research and identify new donor prospects. Develop strategy for outreach
• Prepare briefing material for fundraising trips
• Staff candidate during fundraising travel
Qualifications
• One cycle of finance experience on a campaign or at a committee
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple fundraising trips
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with NGP
