Role and Responsibilities
The Program Manager serves a vital leadership role within the program and is responsible for management of canvass programs. He/She provides strategic guidance to teams and managers in ways to effectively deliver the program outcome to our organization.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Develop project scopes and objectives
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Ensure program stays within budget and participate in the budget and reporting processes
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Maintain strong relationships with and manage teams at new and existing program locations
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Work with the HR team to manage staff and resources for programs
Establish appropriate quality control procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and institutional guidelines for programs.
Gather feedback and presenting insights
Report on program performance to executive team and directors
Identify opportunities for continual improvement
Develop industry partnerships
Ensure relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld
Communicate all pertinent on-the-ground information to, and provide timely response to requests from, the canvassers under your direction
Ensure that canvass teams properly perform their roles and maintain accurate and reliable data
Ensure enforcement of policies and procedures as necessary
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Journalism) - or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
At least one (1) year of field experience.
