Research Associate
Research Associates are responsible for working directly with the Research Director and Deputy Research Director on the campaign's self and opposition research efforts. This position will work with the Research Director and Deputy Research Director to monitor opponents, analyze public records and campaign finance reports, and assist with self and opposition research. This position is a member of Research team and reports to the Research Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Work hand-in-hand with the Research Director to implement the campaign's strategy and research program, including self and opposition research
· Work with the Research Director and Deputy Research Director to ensure all products coming out of the Research Department are accurate and of high quality
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Assist research team with collection of information from votes, clips, public records, campaign finance reports, and databases
● Monitor opponents and update relevant staff when appropriate
● Complete daily bullets
● Maintain a calendar of all opponent events
● Vetting
SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
● Campaign research experience preferred but not required
● Attention to detail, organized, and deadline-oriented
