Winning Connections, an award-winning, Democratic voter contact firm based in DC, seeks candidates for a Communications Assistant and Office Manager position.   This position will work in tandem with the marketing team and the company president, John Jameson. This position begins immediately. 

  

 The responsibilities will include 

 

  • Running office smoothly by keeping team on schedule and handling office administration tasks 

  • Developing and implementing John Jameson's daily, long-term meeting, and travel schedule  

  • Improve company principals' communications outreach by writing and sending cogent emails, drafting pitch decks, and preparing meeting briefings  

  • Successfully organizing events at John's home 

  • Ultimately assisting in program development  

  • Potentially managing the firm's social media outreach 

 

This position will play a critical role during our upcoming election efforts, helping Democrats across the country win important races and advance progressive policies.  

 

Qualified candidates will be: 


  • Highly organized and detail-oriented 

  • A resourceful problem solver 

  • very strong writer with record of academic/professional success 

  • Eager to proactively take on all duties from large scale to entry level ones  

  • Experienced on Democratic campaigns with an appreciation of time demands of campaigns 

  • A fan of dogs and have a sense of humor!
