How can you help Mike?
As a State Digital Director you'll develop digital strategies and tools for mobilizing supporters across the country.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing strategies for email, SMS, social media and web content that organizes and mobilizes campaign supporters
- Collaborating with the campaign's field, data and political teams to develop specific digital organizing objectives and monitor progress towards goals
- Coordinating with state staff to produce state-specific engagement and communication plans to engage, recruit and maintain volunteers and supporters in campaign activities
- Serving as the headquarters point-of-contact for state digital organizers and digital organizing needs
- Writing copy for text messages, call scripts, social media and manage digital volunteer recruitment tools, including events and volunteer form pages
- Creating and deliver trainings on digital organizing tools and tactic
You'll need to have:
- Experience with online organizing tools like Mobilize, Revere, Hustle, etc
- Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills
- Experience training volunteers and supporters
- Experience writing for an organization or candidate on digital platforms
- Experience building, managing, and growing teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions
- A flexible, adaptive and composed attitude.
- Phenomenal work ethic; with long hours and weekends needed
