In Florida, one of the most competitive and watched congressional races in the country is hiring organizers to build a robust volunteer infrastructure in every county in the district to register voters, knock on doors, and make phone calls. Organizers will be the face of our campaign on the ground, responsible for communicating our message directly to voters and recruiting volunteers to lead efforts to persuade and mobilize supporters.
In this position you will:
Recruit, train, and manage teams of volunteers and interns to build organizational capacity.
Build semi-autonomous volunteer teams in every part of the district to organize house parties, set up constituency and issue-based events, and run door-knocking canvasses, phonebanks, and voter registration drives.
Manage relationships with community leaders and local democratic organizations.
Utilize digital tactics to engage supporters and volunteers in online activities.
