If you have experience with FEC report preparation, NGP or bookkeeping or payroll experience we want to talk to you. Duties Include:
-Process donor contributions in compliance with FEC regulations including any follow up correspondence;
-Assist in review of invoices and other accounting documents and records;
- Using NGP VAN software, ensure that all donor and vendor records are accurately recorded and reconciled for campaign financial reporting and FEC report preparation.
- Work with campaign staff to ensure timely and accurate information is provided to senior campaign staff.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year professional work experience;
- Proficiency with NGP VAN, MS Office. Experience with accounting software is a plus;
-Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills;
-Ability to work independently;
-Must work well in a team environment.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive starting salary of 36k-45k per year, health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and 6 paid holidays per year. This is our starting salary and depending on your experience, salary goes up from there. Ample opportunities for advancement. This is a great first job in the political world.
