The District


Our candidate is the progressive candidate in the race and a trailblazer for women in the military. We are taking on an incumbent in the primary who is not well liked in his district. The district is a minority majority district within the D.C. metropolitan region. The primary takes place on April 28th.



Job Description


The Finance Director will build a successful finance program and create and execute a finance strategy. This role includes supervising call time, organizing call time lists, maintaining our database and auto-dialer, growing the email fundraising program, donor research and organizing events.


Reports To: The Campaign Manager



Responsibilities Include


Planning and executing all aspects of fundraising events including logistics, Venue, scheduling, recruitment, invites and more. Establishing goals and organizing successful events to ensure we meet those goals.


Oversight of the call time program such donor research, preparing call time lists, scheduling calls to donors, staffing candidate call time, drafting and sending follow up correspondence to donors, maintaining databases related to call time.


Growing our email fundraising program, drafting emails, engaging our email list and making sure we are maximizing our potential here.


Cultivating a donor base.



Expectations


Ability to work autonomously to reach campaign goals

Ability to communicate clearly with team members

Ability to coach the candidate and manage call time

Ability to plan and execute events



Requirements


A car or reliable transportation


A laptop


A smart phone


Strong desire to elect progressive women to congress


Track record of exceeding campaign goals
