About the Role
270 Strategies is seeking a Project Manager to lead a coalition of community organizations working to raise awareness and inspire action around racial disparities in education opportunity in the St. Louis region. Through this awareness, we hope to build a collective sense of possibility for better outcomes for disadvantaged children and a collective call to action to accelerate progress in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Founder and CEO of the organization, manage the design and implementation of the organization's education advocacy strategy.
- Manage the design and implementation of the organization's broader digital strategy, with diligent focus on overseeing strategic planning and ensuring that the strategy is in line with broader organizational objectives.
- Manage the organization's list-building/acquisition efforts in partnership with external agencies, with the goal of strategically growing our list and communicating effectively with each target audience.
- General project and content management for external agencies, holding each agency accountable to deadlines and ensuring that work across agencies is coordinated.
You might be a good fit if you:
- Have experience advocating for improved educational outcomes for children
- Have experience managing and overseeing projects that collectively align to advance campaign strategic objectives
- Are comfortable speaking to a group, or one on one, about the urgency of a campaign and encouraging people to get involved
- Know how to quickly identify the influential voices in a community and then work to build trust and inspire people to action
- Are at ease just showing up to a meeting or event and building relationships
- Are a problem solver - you spot the challenge, come up with multiple ways to tackle it, and know how to leverage your team to solve it
- Are comfortable creating engaging social media content on a weekly basis
- Have experience managing consultants who are developing and executing programs that are designed to advance the campaign strategic objectives
