The PA House Democratic Campaign Committee seeks a Member and Candidate Services Managers for the 2019-2020 election cycle. HDCC will implement an aggressive plan to protect incumbents and take the majority in 2020. This person reports directly to the Executive Director and Finance Director and will work across departments and with members and candidates. This is a full-time, cycle position based in Norristown, PA. 

Responsibilities 

• Work with incumbents to implement incumbent protection plans with an emphasis on fundraising and field. 

• Develop finance plans for incumbents and target candidates. 

• Staff call time for members and candidates. 

• Assist incumbents and candidates with field planning, turf cutting, and data entry basics. 

• Assist with candidate recruitment and HDCC events. 

• Transition to regional desk role in 2020 and assist headquarters team with staff management. 

Desired Skills and Experience 

• Passion for Democratic principles and a strong commitment to the HDCC's mission and goals. 

• Able to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding environment. 

• Excellent communication skills a must. 

• Experience managing multiple complex projects and meeting deadlines. 

• Experience managing a state legislative campaign is preferred. 

• Field background desired. 

• Ability to find creative solutions to campaign-related issues. 

Applicants should be prepared to work long hours. Relocation to Philadelphia suburbs is required. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and access to transportation.
