-- The campaign is seeking a Digital Director to manage the digital wing of the campaign from the website, to campaign social media accounts, to digital ads and more in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking, quick decision making and attention to detail. The Digital Director will report to the campaign manager and work collaboratively with policy director, communications director, and executive assistant.
Responsibilities
Ensure smooth operation for all digital tools and applications (e.g. website, social media, email)
Design and implement campaign digital strategies
Develop and execute a social media calendar
Set specific digital objectives and monitor progress
Oversee all social media accounts, including posts and ads
Update the campaign website as needed
Create graphics/short videos and write the content
Create, post, and run ads on all social media and digital platforms
Generate innovative ideas to increase web traffic
Create teams of supporters on various social networking sites to help disseminate information about the campaign and Andrew
Train internal teams to use digital technologies
Qualifications
Former experience as a Digital Director or as a paid social media specialist
Former campaign experience preferred
Knowledge of WordPress
Basic knowledge of HTML preferred
Experience in Actionkit, BSD, NGP/VAN preferred
Experience in managing online advertising campaigns, such as Google, AdWords, and Social Media
Experience using Google Analytics and Analyzing Results
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent writing skills
Education in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field preferred
Compensation
Commensurate with experience
