EMILY's List will be hosting a Finance Training on April 3-5 at the Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park.
This is a comprehensive seminar for current campaign finance staff and those looking to be placed as fundraisers on the campaigns of pro-choice Democratic women.
Topics that will be covered in the training include:
- writing a finance plan
- managing a call time program
- researching and targeting donors
- planning events
- crafting messages to donors
- digital and email fundraising
- managing a finance committee
- and hiring and managing a fundraising staff
This is a rigorous program that combines daily classroom-style sessions and nightly simulation exercises that put theories into practice.
