Strategist
Foglamp Content Studio
We're hiring a Strategist to work alongside our team to create delivering high-quality, voice-driven content for our clients. They will be responsible for developing digital strategy and drafting, editing, and producing digital content -- across all channels -- for their assigned clients.
This position is based in Washington, DC, with a salary of $62,000, annually. We also have a generous benefits package, including 100% employer-covered healthcare. Responsibilities
- Strategy: Develop and execute multi-channel content strategy campaigns for clients
- Content writing: Draft and edit email, advertising, and social media content that is timely, creative, and authentic
- Production: Manage the production process for approved email content -- staging, QA testing, segmenting -- and building forms (donation pages, surveys, petitions) in relevant systems
- Teamwork: Collaborate and brainstorm with teammates to develop new, creative ideas, solve challenges, and provide even better service to our clients
- Project management: Manage content calendars to ensure content is drafted and delivered to the client on schedule
- Reporting: Update and manage weekly reporting for assigned clients
- Other projects as assigned.
- 2-4 years professional experience, writing copy for primarily digital channels including email, social media, video, and/or websites
- CRMs such as Action Network, ActionKit, Blue State Digital, EveryAction
- Other platforms such as ActBlue, Mobile Commons, or website CMSs
- Alignment with our firm's mission: We work with progressive nonprofits and Democratic campaigns to deliver high-quality, voice-driven content strategy.
- Strong writer with an ability to adapt to different client voices
- The ability to balance multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Interest and ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience managing staff or interns
- Familiarity with CSS, HTML, Javascript, or Adobe Creative Suite
