FogLamp is hiring a Director to oversee our client services team. The person who fills this role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, impactful digital strategy and products are delivered to our clients.
The ideal candidate for this role is a digital professional with more than 5 years experience in the digital space either on a campaign or within an organization with a robust digital program. This is a senior position on our team — you will be client-facing and manage staff.
This position is based in Washington, DC, with an annual salary of $85,250. We provide generous benefits package, including 100% employer-covered healthcare, more than 10 federal holidays, three weeks of paid leave, and more.
Responsibilities
Team management:
- Manage staff with an eye toward improvement, growth, and promotion
- Edit content, review memos, and provide feedback on work before it's delivered to clients
- Help staff prioritize competing deadlines and balance their workloads
- Work with leadership team to assess team capacity and staffing plan, as well as build out project management systems and processes for our quickly-growing firm
- Work with partners and client services team to build digital programs (primarily digital fundraising, list-building, and persuasion) for our clients
- Develop and implement performance-driven digital programs across clients, and ensuring that innovations are being shared and implemented throughout our team
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, develop client strategy, guide internal processes, and provide timely communication and feedback on program performance
- Lead weekly client calls and report out on performance of the digital program
- Guide client onboarding, assigning client teams and leading client voice guide development
- More than five years professional experience in campaign, nonprofit, or agency roles, with at least three years of managing large-scale digital programs
- Experience managing and mentoring staff, especially teams where internal growth was a priority.
- Extensive experience with CRMs such as Action Network, ActionKit, Blue State Digital, EveryAction, as well as other digital platforms like ActBlue, Mobile Commons, and website CMSs.
- Strong attention to detail -- editing, fact-checking, and proofreading content is a core component of this position
- Alignment with our firm's mission. We work with progressive nonprofits and Democratic campaigns to deliver high-quality, voice-driven digital strategy.
- The ability to balance multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Experience working with remote staff and clients to develop and execute strategic plans
- Familiarity with CSS, HTML, Javascript, or Adobe Creative Suite
