Basecamp Strategy (Washington, D.C.) is seeking three Fellows for our Political Training Program: Creative, Operations, and Client Services
Trump is President for another 11 months. (Or another five years.)
What are YOUR plans until Election Day?
If you're ready to dedicate the next year to making a difference in the most important election of our lifetime but wondering how best to break into politics, we're here to help.
Basecamp Strategy is offering a Political Training Fellowship Program at our headquarters in Washington, D.C. This program will teach you everything you need to know to help elect Democrats in November.
There are dozens of campaigns, political organizations, and consulting firms looking for talented staffers who know the ins and outs of both digital and traditional fundraising.
You could spend years climbing the ladder on the Hill. Or months applying to campaign jobs to no avail.
Or you could come spend one to three months with us, and we'll teach you what you need to know, working directly with our entire team -- from our software engineer to content creator to CEO.
A Basecamp Strategy Fellowship isn't for the faint of heart. Our work demands a lot of us, and we love delivering the best possible results for our clients, because the work of electing Democrats is too important to do it any other way. And because, above all else, we hate doing mediocre work.
We win tough races and elect incredible people by raising our clients as much money as possible online. But we're a different kind of digital fundraising firm: We motivate with honesty and authenticity. We're digital storytellers. And not only do candidates, donors, and voters prefer our style but we've also seen time and again that this kind of content drives the strongest fundraising results.
The best digital strategies have yet to be invented -- and we're here to innovate and do just that. And we can only do exceptional work if we have the best team in the business. We're a team of specialists that's here to challenge assumptions and figure out what performs the best today, not what worked in 2012, 2014, 2016, or November 2018.
Our approach has garnered us notice, and our team is growing and evolving quickly. No one is doing the same job they were doing six months ago or even three months or a month ago. You'll be asked to learn quickly, and the moment you've nailed it, we hope you'll be ready to learn something new. If you love a fast-paced environment, doing tremendously good work efficiently, thinking outside the box, and figuring out how to go from great to incredibly great, then you'll love it here.

Creative Fellow:
Hey, Maggie Stange here.
I'm the Senior Content Strategist at Basecamp Strategy. We're looking to train the next generation of political writers, creatives, and storytellers -- because we've got a hell of a lot of work to do if we're going to get our country back on track.
Our team is small. Tight-knit. And based out of D.C. (though I am remote in Pennsylvania). I'm excited to bring on a Creative Fellow who will dive into creating compelling content for our clients and play a huge role in shaping the visual brand of our candidates.
We've worked for candidates like MJ Hegar, Richard Ojeda, Carolyn Long, Quinton Lucas (the YOUNGEST mayor of Kansas City in over a century). I've seriously LOVED writing content for them -- and we've got some super clients leading the fight for 2020.
We're looking for a Creative Fellow to join the team. If you can design, edit video, and you're down to strategize and learn, send us an email with your resume, some of your best work to date, and 100 words or less about why you would be an excellent match for our team considering the stakes.

+ Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts with client brand guidelines in mind

Qualifications
+ Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro
+ Solid knowledge of design and visual principles

+ Great multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure
+ Strong commitment to electing Democrats

Hello, there -- Bre Swims here, Client Director at Basecamp Strategy.
