THE POSITION:
We're looking for a Digital Strategist to join one of our online fundraising teams. The starting pay is $48,000 annually. As a Digital Strategist, you'll use your persuasive and creative writing ability and critical thinking skills to execute the fundraising process from start to finish. You'll work hands-on with some of the leading Progressive candidates and organizations in the country.
OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write. A LOT! You'll take part in our holistic approach to online fundraising by drafting emails, text messages, and other fundraising creative, loading using HTML and CSS (no prior coding experience is required, but is a plus!), and performing quality assurance checks to ensure emails meet our excellent standards.
- Craft strategy, participate in content planning meetings, and drive client success
- Analyze fundraising metrics and think critically about testing and optimization
- Serve as the daily point of contact for clients to approve content, participate in check-in calls and answer questions.
YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- Superb writing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Can learn quickly and independently
- Can work quickly while balancing many priorities and tight deadlines
TECHNOLOGY WE USE (Experience would be AWESOME, but not required)
- HTML and CSS experience (preferred, but not required)
- Experience using Blue State Digital, ActionKit, ActBlue preferred, but not required
THE LOCATION
Mothership Strategies is located at 1328 Florida Avenue NW (near 14th st.), in a residential area of Washington DC, close to Historic U St. We are metro accessible and located in a 2 story, open-concept office.
