NC House Democrats
Field Director
The NC House Democrats are hiring multiple Field Directors to manage volunteer operations and voter contact efforts in multiple districts. Individuals with experience organizing rural communities and communities of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
● Manage field operations in the district on a day to day basis.
o Develop a field plan, organize volunteer teams in multiple counties, and ensure
o Work with the House Caucus Field Desk to ensure voter contact goals are being hit consistently.
● Work with the candidate and local leaders to build out volunteer teams and leadership.
o Recruit volunteers and organize structures across multiple counties.
● Represent the campaign at public events, serve as a surrogate for the candidate, and help the campaign manager work with a consultant team.
The Field Director should be comfortable with a demanding work schedule leading up to the election. This position reports directly to the Campaign Manager as well as the House Caucus Field Desk.

● Experience with political campaigns
Preferred Skills
· 1-2 cycles of campaign field experience
· Familiarity with NGP VAN
· Rural organizing experience
· Experience
· Familiarity with North Carolina, State Legislative Races, or other relevant political experiences
Salary and Benefits
This is a salaried position, contingent upon experience. Additionally, the NC House Dems offer health insurance and competitive benefits.
