Campaign Organizer Position


Job Description 


Prism Washington is a consulting company that works for progressive candidates around the state.  Our campaigns center equity and social justice.  Many of our campaigns are currently seeking to grow their grassroots staff by hiring organizers both full time and part time.  If you share the values of these candidates, then we encourage anyone that is interested in getting involved in working in the electoral process to apply. Currently, we are looking to hire in the counties of King, Snohomish, Pierce, and Thurston. 


The Campaign Organizer  will: 

  • Recruit and manage volunteers.

  • Manage volunteer database. 

  • Operate phone banks and canvassing events.

  • Organize questionnaires for the candidate.

  • Create social media posts for the campaign.

 

Skills and Qualifications 


  • Previous campaign experience is preferable, but not necessary. There are no required skills or experiences to qualify for this position.  We will provide the training.  The only requirement is a strong passion for advancing progressive values, social justice, and a desire to learn about the political process.

  • The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of common social media tools and understanding of how the election process works.

  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.  


Compensation


Commensurate with campaign workload.
