Change the Game (CtG) is seeking a Content and Logistics Associate to support the launch of the 2020 CtG Academy training program. CtG has a goal of training 300 new Data Managers for progressive organizations at every level of the work. We are looking for someone to track and manage applications for the Change the Game Academy, support and develop our online community of progressive data practitioners, act as point person for all participants for the duration of the academy and onboarding process, and to support the Content Specialist in developing materials for our online training courses. 


CtG seeks a candidate with experience in developing training materials, organizing and managing logistics for a medium or large scale program, and in digital communication, organizing and strategy. The Content and Logistics Associate will report to the Content Specialist, and will be responsible for managing grading, onboarding and project tracking for up to 100 Academy participants. 


This is a temporary, full-time, contract position. 


The Content and Logistics Associate will: 

  • Manage the application process for the CtG Academy 

  • Support the Content Specialist in developing training materials 

  • Manage logistics around the Academy's various trainings

  • Serve as the point of contact for Academy participants 

  • Develop and continue to grow CtG's online community (via Slack) 

  • Manage CtG's online and social media presence 


The ideal candidate is someone who is: 

  • A creative thinker with troubleshooting skills

  • Process oriented with good reporting and documentation skills

  • Experienced in project management 

  • Passionate about training and content creation

  • A clear and concise communicator with social media and/or digital organizing experience

  • Committed to contributing to an inclusive and equitable work environment across race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age and class


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of project management experience 

  • At least one cycle or 1+ years of digital communication or digital organizing experience

  • Previous experience developing training content 


Preferred but not required, experience with:

  • Slack management 

  • OpenEdX or another LMS platform 

  • Social media and branding

  • Google Suite management 

  • Zoom management 

  • Airtable (or database) management 


Experience in the progressive space with: 

  • Campaigns

  • Progressive 501(c)(4) organizations

  • Labor, reproductive or other progressive allies and/or

  • State or local party infrastructure


Compensation: 

$6,000/month
