Field Director

An Arizona campaign is seeking a Field Director to start immediately. The Field Director will work closely with campaign leadership, serving as a point of contact on the ground, and is responsible for directing the day to day field operations for the campaign. They are responsible for planning and executing the campaign field plan, managing field staff, and accountable for all quantitative and qualitative field metrics. The Field Director is also responsible for opening campaign offices and oversight of field budget. They are also the main point of contact for all data in their district. 


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Understanding of targeting and metrics;

• Have at least two cycles of field experience;

• Experience recruiting, hiring, training and managing a team;

• Commitment to establishing a culture of respect and community;

• Proficiency in VAN, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs;

• Experience developing, training and empowering volunteers;

• Previously held Field Organizer, Regional Field Director or Field Director positions;

• Frequent travel required; Access to a vehicle;

• Other duties as needed

Mobilization Director

The Mobilization Director will fill a role in the organizing team with heavy focus on digital organizing to meet the needs of this unique campaign cycle. The Mobilization Director will work with campaign leadership to develop an organizing plan for a specific region and/or subset of the campaign. The Mobilization Director will oversee a region of the district, build and maintain relationships with local leaders, and recruit and manage volunteers to meet voter contact, persuasion, and capacity-building goals, both through digital and traditional organizing techniques. They will write digital voter contact scripts, design digital organizing programs and manage corresponding data, work with the field director on sequencing flow, trouble-shoot digital platforms with organizers and volunteers, and operationalize the campaign dialer as well as any additional virtual organizing platforms. The Mobilization Director reports to the Campaign Field Director. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 1 full election cycle of digital and/or organizing experience

  • Strong grasp of political organizing tools and tactics 

  • Experience recruiting, training and managing volunteers

  • Experience managing texting, digital, or data programs on electoral campaigns is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Strong attention to detail and writing skills

  • Must be a strong collaborator and ability to work in groups
