Summary of the Position:
The Florida for All Digital Organizer understands that building power requires creativity, strategy, strong relationships, and a whole lot of elbow grease. The Digital Organizer is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, organizer who works collaboratively and who is driven by a deep desire to build long term winning power in marginalized communities. The Digital Organizer will lead the development and execution of the digital strategies for the Florida for All campaign.

The ideal person will be committed to building relationships among their team members, the Florida for All Coalition, and their counterparts on the Organizing and Communications teams. They will be a patient listener with the ability to notice what is not being said and probe to uncover the root of the issue. They must care about and have a track record of racial and gender justice work in Florida. The ideal person will be able to combine all these factors to execute their responsibilities at a high level.
About Florida for All Campaign:
In 2020, the Florida For All Coalition (a partnership of Central Florida Jobs with Justice, Dream Defenders Action, Faith in Florida Action, Florida Immigrant Coalition Votes, New Florida Majority, Organize Florida, Florida Planned Parenthood PAC, and SEIU) will work with Win Justice national partners to build on the collaboration and partnership of our joint 2018 Win Justice Florida Campaign.
The 2020 Win Justice Florida Campaign will build and run a large-scale electoral and organizing program that focuses on turnout for voters of color, young people, and women across the state. Our program will include traditional canvassing and phone-banking (to the extent it is safe to do so during this Covid-19 pandemic) – while also expanding to digital organizing, intentional and large-scale civic engagement community programs, and voter education and protection programs.
Our primary objective in 2020 is delivering Florida's electoral votes for the Democratic candidate in the Presidential election. In addition, our plan also includes delivering key votes for Progressive candidates in down ballot races across the state of Florida — this includes electing progressive Mayors, State Attorneys, Sheriffs, Clerks of Courts, Public Defenders, and School Board Members.
