[GAINPOWER.org: Jobs That Are Left] eStreet Group is looking for digital advertising strategists (remote)

Hi all --

eStreet Group is a progressive political consulting firm working with candidates and causes to tell authentic stories — constantly innovating, motivating, and inspiring donors to give, people to vote, and neighbors to mobilize. We are looking to fill digital advertising strategist positions at the junior or senior level. Please see below for job descriptions and more details.

Senior Digital Advertising Strategist

eStreet Group is looking for experienced digital advertising professionals to join our team as a Senior Digital Advertising Strategist. eStreet Group is a progressive political consulting firm working with candidates and causes to tell authentic stories — constantly innovating, motivating, and inspiring donors to give, people to vote, and neighbors to mobilize.

As Senior Digital Advertising Strategist, you'll lead the conception, development, and execution of digital ad campaigns for eStreet's progressive campaign and advocacy clients, including efforts focused on acquisition, fundraising, brand awareness, persuasion, and voter turnout. You'll also work closely with other members of the digital team to ensure that marketing campaigns align with broader digital communications needs, messaging guidelines, and fundraising goals. This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office, but we're open to candidates in our other office locations (Chicago, Phoenix, Long Beach, Sacramento) or remote.

In this role, you will

  • Oversee digital advertising campaigns from soup to nuts: create overall strategies, set budgets, develop creative (writing copy and working with creative teams to produce graphic and video assets), build and launch campaigns, manage campaigns in-platform, and test and optimize to achieve client objectives

  • Communicate with both clients and internal teams as a subject-matter expert on digital advertising, applying advertising principles to the political sphere

  • Maintain budgets and oversee campaign pacing to ensure adherence to authorized budgets and flighting

  • Analyze and report on campaign outcomes and effectiveness, and provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns

  • Develop agency wide best practices, iterate on those through continual testing and experimentation, and ensure adherence across clients and campaigns

  • Track industry trends and emerging platforms and technologies, and continually seek out new opportunities for innovation

  • Assist in business development proposals and pitches as needed

You have:

  • At least three years of demonstrated experience in digital advertising, with a track record of success managing campaigns that met client/advertiser needs

  • Deep understanding of all aspects of digital media strategy, planning, campaign management, and reporting, and extensive experience with the tools and platforms used (including Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, and some DSP experience)

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills (and a record of putting them to use)

  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines or in high pressure situations

  • A track record of juggling competing priorities with the ability to be both self-directed and to delegate tasks to others as appropriate

  • Passion for electing progressive candidates and supporting progressive causes — and preferably at least one cycle of experience working directly with a Democratic campaign or organization

You'll get:

  • A starting salary between $70,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience

  • 100% employer-paid health insurance and 90% employer-paid dental insurance, plus no-cost disability and life insurance

  • Cell phone and transportation stipends (depending on your office location)

  • 20 PTO days per year, unlimited sick leave, and two months parental leave

  • 401(k) with 5% employer match after six months

eStreet Group is committed to diversity among its staff, and recognizes that its continued success requires the highest commitment to obtaining and retaining a diverse staff that provides the best quality services to our clients. We strongly encourage diverse candidates to apply. eStreet Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, genetic information, protected veterans, marital or familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability status, criminal record information (except where permitted under applicable law), or any other category prohibited by local, state or federal law.
