The Associate Director (AD) for Economic Justice will support Indivisible's legislative advocacy by leading Indivisible's policy and advocacy work on economic justice. This position will involve high-level conversations with Members of Congress, congressional staff, coalition partners, and media, significant legislative strategy creation and the ability to offer substantive policy expertise in the AD's priority issue areas. A key aspect of this position will be cultivating and managing key relationships with partner organizations, especially those representing directly affected individuals, and representing the organization in relevant coalitions. This position will also require providing local Indivisible groups with information and support to empower them to do advocacy on these issues. The AD will report to the Legislative Director and assist in ongoing planning for the department.
This position is full-time, based in Washington D.C., with a salary starting at $86,587 per year, commensurate with experience. Indivisible provides a robust benefits package including full medical/dental/vision/life coverage, a discounted gym membership, and an employer matched 401(k) plan.
