SKDKnickerbocker, a leading Democratic political consulting firm, is seeking a vice president to join its Direct Mail Team for the remainder of the cycle. Candidates must able to lead SKDK's direct mail content creation process - from program plan to creative concepts to mailboxes.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
· Experience leading, managing, and crafting paid media campaigns and content for political campaigns or progressive organizations.
· Deep understanding of direct mail and exceptional writing skills are a must.
· A proven ability to analyze quantitative/qualitative research and develop strategy and messaging based on it.
· Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
· Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines in tandem.
· A willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary (campaign hours).
· A team player who works well with a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with Account Lead on direct mail program development including writing and concepting of mail pieces
· Manage the creative process and work-flow
· Work with data analytics on mail universe creation
· Lead SKDK team to ensure that our mail is approved on deadline
· Ensure mail accuracy before printing
· Manage printing and ensure drop schedules are met
