DESCRIPTION:
A Western New York Democratic Senate Campaign is seeking a Field Organizer. Field Organizers will execute the Field Director's voter targeting and contact goals that include, but are not limited to:
• Engaging with voters via phone banking, social media, text campaigns, email alerts
• Ability to engage volunteers and interns to perform voter outreach, voter contact
• Working with field director to achieve voter contact goals, manage team of interns, execute field plan
• Implement best practices for data management using the campaign's voter file software
• Establish a strong professional culture within the field organization focused on accountability, specific goals, innovation and sense of purpose
• Ability to work remotely (laptop, cell phone, stable internet connection)
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Interest in field organizing and political campaigns
• Familiarity with social media campaigns and willingness to learn digital organizing
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills, showing attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating interns to meet recruitment and voter contact goals
COMPENSATION:
$2,000 - $2,500 per month. Commensurate with experience.
