About the Senior Digital Fundraising Specialist

The Senior Digital Fundraising Specialist will build and test fundraising campaigns, conduct analysis, and craft effective appeals to raise money from individuals. The ideal candidate will have the expertise and ability to optimize the digital fundraising strategy to make our emails, texts, ads, and website the most compelling they can be to inspire people to give, give again, and give larger donations. 

The Senior Digital Fundraising Specialist will oversee the production, testing, and optimization of digital fundraising appeals across emails, SMS, on websites, and social media. Working with the Digital Fundraising Manager, the Senior Digital Fundraising Specialist will also support growth and fundraising projections and forecasting processes, conduct analysis, and offer insights to focus and optimize content. 

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a deep commitment to furthering intersectional climate justice and the aims of 350.org, alongside the production and technical skills to bring it to life in a way that inspires thousands to take online and offline action.

Required Qualifications:
  • Three campaign cycles or four years of relevant experience in email and digital fundraising.
  • Proficiency with most of the HTML and CSS needed to run email programs
  • Familiarity with platforms such as ActionKit, Action Network, or Blue State Digital, along with Google suite, Microsoft suite, ActBlue, and Salesforce
  • Strong handle for data, A/B testing, and optimizing fundraising content
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills in planning, prioritizing, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communications skills.
  • High level of confidence and ability to work independently as well as within a team structure; proven ability to work well with diverse groups of people in different departments and functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written 
  • A deep understanding of and commitment to diversity, racial equity and inclusion
  • Alignment with 350.org's vision, mission and progressive values
  • Communications skills, as well as a professional telephone manner
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
  • Experience with experimental design, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
  • Technology Skills: Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Google Adwords
  • Modeling retention and churn
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
  • Excited about digital fundraising, new tools and data systems 
  • Excellent at monitoring and analyzing return on investment
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working alone within a remote team 
  • A diplomatic communicator who is comfortable working with diverse constituencies while maintaining a high-level of discretion and confidentiality
  • A strong project manager with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a self-directed fashion
  • Able to maintain the integrity of donor data
  • Engage in initiatives that foster team collaboration, including meetings, trainings, retreats, and special projects
Position Type: Full-time
