Revolution Field Strategies is seeking multiple highly motivated candidates for the role of Volunteer Coordinator for a signature collection campaign in Maine. Volunteer Coordinators will help manage the day to day operations of our volunteer field program. Positions are open immediately, with contracts running until Jan 31st.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and organize volunteer activity in their region;
Oversee the recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers for signature collection;
Manage volunteers as they implement the campaign's day to day operation;
Meet and exceed goals for program performance;
Ensure reporting and accountability protocols are followed to provide up-to-date, actionable data and information to campaign leadership; and,
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong management, communication and motivational skills;
Proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse group of staff; and,
Ability to work a demanding schedule and be available long hours, seven days a week through the length of the program.
At minimum, 1-2 cycles of campaign experience.
Training:
Volunteer Coordinators will receive extensive training and support from senior leadership.
Expectations:
Potential campaign staff will be expected to work campaign hours, up to 80 hours per week, leading up to the end of the program.
Salary/Benefits:
Compensation range for Volunteer Coordinators is between $4,000 and $5,000 a month.
Volunteer Coordinators will be considered employees of Revolution Field Strategies.
