We're looking for someone who can start immediately, and wants the chance to play a crucial role in important 2021 campaign. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference as well as gain experience and advance in this field.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven field plan.
- Recruit and retain volunteers.
- Recruit, train and manage a field team to execute the field plan
- Set, meet, and exceed benchmarks for petitioning, voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV
- Establish a strong professional and fun culture within the field organization focused on accountability, specific goals, and utilization of best practices, innovation, and sense of purpose while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
Qualifications Include:
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet recruitment and voter contact goals and maintain fun, community environment
- At least two cycles of field experience, preferably having targeting/data experience
- Experience managing and training high performing volunteers
- Experience with and ability to train on Votebuilder (VAN)
- Strong understanding of the Neighborhood Team organizing model
- A true self-starter who is a team player
- Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment
- Spanish proficiency a plus
Compensation: Commensurate with experience. ($3,000 - $5,000/month)
