We are looking to add an energetic, experienced Federal Account Manager with 10-15 years of experience to join our Washington DC team that will add to our culture and fully embrace our commitments to deliver, grow and thrive. About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing new business relationships; managing client and partner relationships; and managing multiple teams with excellent delivery with responsibilities spanning: account management of multiple projects; spearheading business development and capture; client, partner, and stakeholder relationship management; team and performance management; project planning, staffing, execution, and monitoring; and contract management. 

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

  • Partner with the sales team to identify, develop, and track new opportunities to grow our corporate footprint 
  • Lead organic business growth and capture teams across the account, helping to move opportunities through opportunity identification to contract award
  • Develop and manage relationships with multiple current/potential clients and partners  
  • Lead multiple project teams with a role focused on client relationship management, strategic advisement, contract management, delivery excellence, and people management. 
  • Collaborate with Corner Alliance leadership to lead initiatives and provide insights into enhanced delivery and sales. 
  • Manage and identify efficiencies and/or tools to improve organizational processes
  • Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive

Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team at our metro-accessible Washington, DC office.

*You will interview, onboard, and work remotely due to COVID-19 until it is safe to return to the office*

Required Experience/Skills:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of experience in project management
  • 5+ years of experience in account management 
  • Experience in leading Sales/Business Development in the Federal Government
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Comfortable working at a strategic level while leading teams to deliver excellence
  • Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of projects with a 'total quality management' approach
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple Federal Government contracts 
  • Direct experience working on a daily basis to advise senior-level clients and manage multiple teams 
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex information into manageable pieces
  • US citizenship or permanent resident status with the ability to pass a background check and government public-trust clearance/suitability 

Preferred Skills/Education:

  • Previous Account Manager experience at a Federal Government consulting firm
  • Previous Portfolio or Program Management experience
  • Relevant Master's Degree

Salary: starts at 120,000 - 150,000 + commission, and is determined based upon experience
