Deputy Campaign Manager-Eric Adams for Mayor
The Eric Adams Mayoral Campaign is seeking a Deputy Campaign Manager with extensive field experience to lead the field department and serve as part of the senior leadership team for the Democratic Primary campaign. The Deputy Campaign Manager will oversee the field team, engage with endorsing organizations and individuals, work closely with the Campaign Manager, and drive direct voter contact. The ideal candidate believes in building a more equitable New York City and is excited about the prospect of engaging with stakeholders and community members most impacted by City policies to ensure a just COVID-19 recovery.
Responsibilities
· Oversees the execution of the field plan
· Manages organizing and field staff
· Developing and executing plans to bring grass-tops leaders on board
· Mobilizing individuals and organizations for press events and direct voter outreach operations
· Working with validators, surrogates, and endorsing organizations to further campaign's goals and message
· Regular reporting of quantitative and qualitative data
· Working closely with the digital team for digital organizing and field events
· Other duties, as required.
Skills & Experience
· Senior level experience in field and political campaigns;
· Knowledge of New York City politics is a plus;
· Ability to effectively command and invest a large field team;
· Ability to problem solve and take creative approaches to meeting goals;
· Excellent detail-oriented project management;
· Smart political judgment;
· Knowledge of online advocacy tools and online organizing tactics is a plus;
· Strong commitment to racial and economic justice
· Must be able to work campaign hours as well as nights and weekends as needed
Position Type: Full-time starts ASAP
Salary: starting at $7,500 commensurate with experience
