Bennet for Colorado is looking to hire a Deputy Colorado Finance Director. The Deputy will work under the Colorado Finance Director to execute the finance plan and help with any national fundraising needs. The position will be remote until it's safe to be back in the office, and then will be based out of the campaign headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
This is a great opportunity for anyone with at least a cycle of finance experience who is looking to hone their skills and advance.
Responsibilities:
Plan, build, and staff events for the campaign
Schedule meetings with key donors across the state and country
Prepare and staff candidate call time
Research prospective donors and help manage the database
Manage and train finance assistants and interns
Interact with donors and prospective donors – via email, phone, Zoom, and (eventually) in-person
Write fundraising communications
Assist with other campaign related activities as needed
Qualifications:
** Colorado ties are plus! **
At least 1 cycle of campaign finance experience
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Significant experience with NGP and ActBlue
Event planning experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated team player with an ability to multitask
Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
Salary range: $4,000 - $5,000 / month depending on experience
