Locations: Miami-dade, Broward County, Leon, Pinellas, Orange, Hillsborough, Palm Beach, DuvalHiring 1 per locationRole and ResponsibilitiesOffice Directors serve a vital leadership role within the campaign office and are responsible for managing the office operations as it relates to compliance and HR Assistant(s). The Office Director will oversee the Operations and Human Resource Management of their assigned region.
Human Resources ● Overseeing the HR Assistant(s) in the campaign office(s) ● Provide the office with the positive leadership culture, resources, guidance and technical support required to succeed during each phase of the program while ensuring compliance with all policies and best practices ● Serve as the point of contact for any payroll, onboarding or HR issues within the office(s) ● Ensure that all canvassers are enrolled in EasyWorkforce and have an assigned pin ● Implement and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures within the office ● Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management in the office ● Manage EasyWorkforce and cross reference with the sign-in- sheet ● Ensure the HR/payroll database reflects current and accurate employee information such as demographic data, employment information and job/pay data ● Manage the Timekeeping system by ensuring approval of employee sign-in sheets ● Prepare Weekly Payroll Approval Sheets ● Update employee payroll deductions and/or withholdings by entering employee tax information, benefit deductions ● Resolve payroll discrepancies by researching and analyzing information ● Compile internal management reports from payroll system ● Create and maintain employee personnel, payroll, and benefit files and ensure the confidentiality of such ● Keeping track of terminated employees within the office ● Daily audits ● Other duties as requested. ● Operations ● Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment ● Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs ● Organize office operations and procedures ● Monitor stock and request office supplies ● Address employees' queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements) ● Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services ● Keep updated records of office expenses and costs ● Ensure company's policies and security requirements are met ● Other duties as requested. Accountability ● Communicate all pertinent on-the-ground information to, and provide timely response to requests from, the HR team under your direction ● Ensure that the HR Assistants properly perform their roles and maintain accurate and reliable data ● Provide the Operations and HR Director with daily quantitative and qualitative reports as part of an ongoing evaluation of the office's success Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field Minimum two (2) years as HR Generalist/Manager role Experience with processing large payroll Campaign Experience a plus! Key RequirementsPeople oriented and results driven Demonstrable experience with Human resources metrics Knowledge of HR systems and databases Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, and cost regulation Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: general human resources responsibilities, recruitment and selection, training, safety and sanitation Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information A keen eye for detail An analytical mind and good math skills Organizational and leadership skills Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
Compensation & Benefits $50,000(annually) paid on a weekly basis 100% Employer Paid Access to Healthcare Full-Time. Temporary through December 2021
