Re-Elect Baker for Chief 2015, a Native American campaign in northeastern Oklahoma is looking for field organizers. This will be an exciting opportunity to mobilize voters using modern field tactics in a rural environment. Chief Baker has modernized the Cherokee Nation bringing record investments in healthcare, housing, education. During his tenure, the Nation has increased the minimum wage, launched a $100 million dollar healthcare expansion and brought an unprecedented level of transparency to Native American politics.
Field experience is preferred, but not required
This person will need to be comfortable working in a rural environment
Willing to work both collaboratively at times and independently at others
Able to train and lead volunteers and junior staff
Positions start mid January.
